Coronavirus/COVID19 is a term that has become a normal part of our everyday vocabulary. We are all seeing the effects of it in our lives in one way or another. Some of us may have friends, family, or loved ones that have become ill with the virus, others may be seeing the effects due to lack of work. In whatever way you are experiencing this pandemic we want you to know you are not alone.

30 Activities to Clear Your Mind During Quarantine

This widespread pandemic is facing every American, whether or not they see or notice it yet. We at Valley Office Systems want the public and our customers to know that we are doing our part to slow the spread of the virus. Being a technology servicing business, we are deemed essential, but that doesn’t mean we can’t do our part to slow the spread.

What is Valley Doing?

We have provided all our employees that encounter customers with masks; they have been asked to wear these in all their business dealings. All of our service techs have disposable gloves to wear on all service calls and dispose of immediately following each service call. The service techs have also been instructed to wipe down all equipment that they touch with an alcohol based cleaner prior to leaving the location. Our employees, as a whole, have been instructed to wash their hands frequently and use hand sanitizer regularly.

Our help desk is a great resource during this time. Did you know that many common service calls could be resolved by having a trained technician walk you through the process? A win for all because there would be no physical contact with others. We also have other resources available to make your job easier working remotely, connecting with others outside your organization remotely, or just ease of accessing documents.

“A service company above all else” is the moto that we have always stood behind and we will continue standing behind. That service goes deeper than fixing your equipment or selling new equipment, that service means that we will take all necessary precautions to ensure we do our part to protect our community members and our customers health and wellbeing.

What is important?

Our priorities are, first and foremost, to make sure we are doing our part to slow the spread of the virus. Second, to continue to support and maintain our customers current operations. Third, to be here as a support in every way we are able. We are all in this together.

While we wish we could say this would end tomorrow that is not reality. No one knows when this may end and life return to a somewhat “normal” so for now we must embrace what we have. We must all do our part. We must remember “The tough times never last, but the tough people do” -Robert H. Schuller.
